The Loss of a Loved One
Losing a loved one whether suddenly or after an extended illness is life changing. As the survivor, you often needs to talk about your feelings in order to process the emotions. After a while, you realize that you cannot keep going to your friends and pouring out your heart and your tears. A therapist can listen to your feelings and ask questions to help guide you through the grief process. You can say everything you feel and know that this information will remain confidential. “If you don’t deal with grief, it waits for you. It can wait forever.”
